I became a mother just one day before my 17th birthday. From that moment on, I navigated a lifelong journey of resilience completely on my own, raising my children independently. Through every hardship, the only anchors I had to hold onto were my parents and my sister — who were enduring their own heavy battles right alongside me.
Today, I look at my three sons — now 32, 20, and 17 — and I know with everything in me that the generational cycles stop right here.
